St. Louis, MO – November 29, 2016 – Observable Networks Inc., an emerging leader of advanced threat detection services, today announced that it has achieved Advanced Technology Partner status in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). By reaching this status in the APN, Observable Networks demonstrates its ongoing commitment to helping organizations improve security in AWS cloud environments as well as traditional on-premises networks.
Observable Networks’ Dynamic Endpoint Modeling solution was one of the first to use AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Flow Log data to help its customers analyze network activity across virtual servers in AWS environments. The company expanded this capability to take advantage of additional AWS services such as AWS CloudTrail, Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon Inspector to serve as the input for its endpoint modeling service. Using endpoint modeling, organizations can more rapidly detect behavior changes in AWS assets that might represent a threat.
“We were looking for a better way to monitor network traffic in virtual private clouds. Dynamic Endpoint Modeling was the best solution to provide visibility into all of our devices and their network activity in our cloud infrastructure,” said Taylor Higley, Director of Information Security at AFGE.
This accomplishment further enables us to help our customers improve the security of their AWS cloud environments. The result is a nimble, scalable and cost-effective security solution for AWS customers.
“We are extremely proud to be named an APN Advanced Technology Partner,” said Patrick Crowley, Chief Technology Officer at Observable Networks. “This accomplishment further enables us to help our customers improve the security of their AWS cloud environments. AWS’ built-in foundation of visibility, identity and policy enforcement enables out-of-the box threat detection and avoidance of known problems and when combined with Observable Networks’ ability to detect unknown threats in the behavior of AWS resources, the result is a nimble, scalable and cost-effective security solution for AWS customers.”
This achievement represents Observable Networks’ continued efforts of providing advanced security solutions to overcome flaws often found in traditional tools. Its Dynamic Endpoint Modeling solution monitors and models every endpoint device to help security professionals quickly identify potentially fraudulent behaviors and remediate threats.
Observable Networks is committed to helping its clients analyze the behavior of applications and devices that run on AWS cloud environments so they can better identify and respond to potential security issues.
